Backstory: As a dwarf getting on in years (or well-weathered, as he would prefer), Dwalin Stonespeaker has seen much as there is to be seen in life. There are few peaks he has not climbed, and few depths he has not dived. What interests him now is not what there is, or what there has been, but what there will be.Devoted to Savras, god of divination and fate, Dwalin seeks to unravel the tangles of the future and divine not just his own fate, but the fate of those he encounters. Armed with his deck of Tarot cards, he lays the future bare for all to see. There is a slight hiccup in his visions, however. He does not offer any fee for his divination, and he shouldn't. While the cards that are drawn correctly predict the future, Dwalin never bother to actually learn how to read or understand the cards. As such, he is prone to giving his own interpretation of what is drawn. This generally does not result in a correct prediction of any kind, and a few patrons have been left a little worse off than when they arrived.Because of Dwalin's readings, spouses have been falsely accused or adultery, farm animals have been bought during inopportune seasons, and many men and women have spent far too much time attempting to woo love interests who may not particularly share their persuasions.
Nevertheless, Dwalin yearns to spread the gift of divination to any who would hear his words. On his travels he hopes to bring the good word of Savras to every household, because more knowledge is never a bad thing.
