The Wondrous Reliquary

Masterwork weapons & armor are castle-forged by master artisans. Skilled blacksmiths, fletchers, bowyers and craftsman at the apex of their craft have poured their blood, sweat, and heart into these goods. Often they are family heirlooms or bestowed to only the noblest of warriors.

Magic weapons and armors are similar in design with the exception that the wilds magicks and sorceries of the world have been imbued into these creations. Whether it be a flaming sword or a trident which freezes whatever it touches, these are tools of destruction and are not to be trifled with.

Magic Items are gleaned from the hoards of conquered Monsters or discovered in long-lost vaults. Such items grant capabilities a character could rarely have otherwise, or they complement their owner’s capabilities in wondrous ways.

A spell scroll bears the words of a single spell, written in a mystical cipher. If the spell is on your class’s spell list, you can read the scroll and cast its spell without providing any material Components. Otherwise, the scroll is unintelligible.
