Backstory: Yarrik Tyrnan was a gambler and a hustler. He worked his way through the dredges and dark basements of Neverwinter, collecting coin and and hurting feelings. The thing about Yarrik is that he was not just a good gambler - he was a great gambler. A true hustler who would have impressed the likes of Jarlaxle himself. His reputation got him access to higher stakes games and Yarrik began to offend the wrong sort of people. The type of people who didn't like to lose. One night, when he was playing a particularly high stakes game in his favorite gambling den and raking in more coins that would make even Tymora blush.

With a killing stroke of a great hand, Yarrik won the game and began to collect his stack of coins. Unfortunately for Yarrik, the disgruntled noble he thought he had just pilfered a couple hundred gold coins from wasn't just any noble. He was a Fey and didn't like being bested by a mortal such as Yarrik. After leaving the den, Yarrik was abducted by a group of trees, sprites, and smaller sylvan creatures and ferried away into the Feywild. Turns out this noble was quite high ranking in the Court of Summer and demanded to his lady for the privilege to take Yarrik's life to restore his honor. This Lady of Summer, only a few steps down from the Queen Titainia herself, had other plans though. She admired the wile and wit of the bedraggled gambler. She bound Yarrik to her, imbuing him with magnificent powers but enslaving him in all but free will to her cause. He was cast back into Faerun and expected to go about his life, with the caveat that when his lady calls, he will be prepared to answer - no matter the quest.
